My Sick Boy

My baby boy was sick this weekend, boooo. We battled the yucky cold and made it thru the other side with only 3 epsiodes of barf all over me. He had "a belly full of mucus" and when he would burp after eating it would bring everything up along with it (I know you wanted to know that.) My little man still smiled thru it all tho! We spent both days cuddling with him and these are the shots I got of my sick baby (with my new iPhone hehehe), he's sooo cute even when he doesn't feel good!

November 7th

This is my FAVORITE pic of Taylor when he was a newborn (sorry hubby I cropped you out if it). This is from Gus' cell phone when Tay was 10 days old and I was stranded on the couch. Monday, my 1st day back to work Gus sent me this pic on my cell and said "Hi Mommy" and it made me smile, my heart lept, then I cried hahaha!

I just love the face he is making!!!

 

Steak-a-versary

December 30th is our Steak-a-versary and Gus took me out to CHOMP for some yummy Filet Mignon! What is a steak-a-versary you ask? Well it's the anniversary of the night Gus proposed and we had the BEST steak ever at LA Prime. So every year Gus likes to plan a steak dinner to celebrate another year passing since we were engaged. Taylor stayed with Ray and Christi for a while while we got out and had a nice nursing free dinner and a beer!

 

Ready for Daycare!

Today is Taylors first day of daycare and he is having a wonderful time! We are so blessed to have him in daycare at one of the schools that my company owns in Brea.  Which means I know every person that works there and the CEO's grandaughter and Superintendant's grandaughter both attend that campus so he is in great hands!  We spent all day yesterday getting his things together and labeling everything for him.  He has a special school blanket, swaddler, and crib set.  He slept from 10pm-6am and when Gus and I went in to wake him this morning he was all smiles in his crib happy to wake up and see us and get the day started.  Gus came with us this morning and set his crib up with I signed him in and gave them his schedule.  Tay's on a pretty strict schedule and they will follow it everyday which eases my mind a lot as well.  He's all set up to go there!  I called in at noon and they said he is doing great and napping really well, that's my little man!

Being back to work today has got me going thru many emotions, mainly sadness from missing my boy.  I wish I could be home with him still but those bills won't pay themselves so here I am at my desk looking at all the wonderful smiling pictures and videos I have of my darling boy.
