San Diego Zoo
We got to spend a super fun weekend in San Diego with Mom and Dad for my Mom's birthday this week! Monday we headed to the Zoo with the entire Family and had a wonderful HOT day visiting the animals. Tay loved the Elephants the best and Noelle slept and slept. We are considering Zoo passes this year to replace Dland so we can go back again and again! Thanks for a great weekend and happy birthday to my wonderful Mom!

Jedi Master in Training
We set out on a family adventure to meet up with Auntie Assy and take Tay to the Jedi training Academy this week! He had a great time learning how to "ACTIVATE!" and battle with his lightsaber. He was the smallest Padawan Learner and the Jedi's took lots of extra time showing him the moves prepping him for his battle.
He then got to battle Darth Vader! He was up on stage and approached Vader with no fear! He showed off his new moves and defeated the dark side! We are so proud!

Disney with the Joy's!
Last Sunday we braved the rain reports and headed to Disney for a BEAUTIFUL day with the Joy family! It was so much fun to see how much Dylon has grown and hang out with Kaylee too, she is such a beautiful princess! We rode a few rides and met the Hundred Acre woods friends and then headed home so I could rest. Walking Disney 2 weeks after surgery kinda did me in...oops but i wouldn't have missed it!!! We have about a month left on our passes so if you wanna go let us know, we will be there as much as we can!
Christmas 2012
Well we had an interesting Christmas to say the least, but best of all we were together to celebrate! Christmas Eve we were released from the hospital and after all the hustle and bustle to get home and settled we had a few family members over to eat our traditional Mexican feast and then call it an early night.
Christmas morning started off great with matching jammies for all! Well that is until Tay woke up and we went into his room to find that he had thrown up all over his bed, but he was still smiling away and excited. Noelle took a big nap during presents and after breakfast we started to see Tay's spirits take a turn for the worse. About 2 minutes later he lost all his breakfast all over his Daddy's presents :( and the flu officially hit our home for Christmas. It continued to take down my parents throughout the week but bypassed Gus and myself (thank GOD!)
It was an adventure that is for sure but I am so thankful that I was home with my entire family around me to celebrate Christ's birth. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and you missed the flu bug!

Noelle Sharon 12/22/12
Miss Noelle Sharon joined us on 12/22/12 via C-Section (aka forced eviction!) She was 8lbs 14oz 21.5 inches long and PERFECT!!!! The night before she was born Gus and I finally decided to give her the middle name of Sharon after my Mom. She was predicted to be about 7.5 lbs and when they pulled her out (and yes there is a great pic of that not posted of course) the Dr. was astonished at how big she was. She exclaimed "almost 9 lbs, you hid that baby well!"
Tay stayed the weekend at Ray and Christi's (thank you SO SO SO MUCH) and had the best time with Ryle. Christi brought the boys by Saturday evening and Tay was more excited to see all his Grandparents than me or Noelle. He was super hesitant and didn't want anything to do with her for a long time. There was a TON of commotion in the room and we think that was overwhelming for him as well as meeting his new sister. He came back the next day and was much better.
Getting ready to go home on Christmas Eve!!! Gus's mom bought us this adorable outfit and I had to have Noelle wear it to go home in. She looked so cute, hated the bow in the car seat (and still does) but I blame it on the head rest. She wears them otherwise :)
Tay was ecstatic to pick us up and take Noelle home, he giggled and said "Hi Noelle" the whole way home. He loves her so much! We finally got a good pick of the 4 of us in the Nursery when we got home.
She is just the BEST baby and put herself on a wonderful schedule all by herself and only wakes up once at night to eat. She is very easy going and smiles a ton showing us her cute little dimple. Taylor thinks she is the most amazing thing and talks about her all the time. His transition was amazing and he acts like she has always been there. We are so in love with her!

Last Attempt to Walk Her Out!
We once again headed to Disney to walk this girl outta me, as you may know it didn't work but we had a BLAST as a family! We rode a few rides, saw the Disney Jr Live, and the Parade, and met Santa! Taylor loved him! Thank goodness we saw Santa there, I was waiting for Noelle's arrival to take the kids together but since she stuck around for too long this was the only visit.
