Cars Land Fun

We had a great time together last night hanging out with Lightning and Mater! We went on Maters Junkyard Jamboree which Tay giggled at the entire time we were whipping around and squishing him. He got to see Lightning and Mater drive down the street (which was awesome) and then we headed to Disneyland. Tay made friends in every line we waited in and had many girls swooning over his sweet curls. After many many rides we decided to get the kids their official traditional Mickey ears, I love them!

Cole's Safari Adventure!

Party central around here - we celebrated 2 parties this weekend.  Jax turned 6 and as soon as Teren puts up some pics I will snag them, I didn't get to take one!  But it was a really fun party - more on that later :)

We had a blast celebrating Cole turning 5 yesterday at Safari Kingdom! It was so much fun to have the place to ourselves so the kids could run wild and play with their friends.  Gus had so much fun sliding, jumping, throwing and zip-lining with Tay.  After lots of jumping we went to the party room for cake and presents, Aunt Mary Kay outdid herself once again with an AMAZING cake!  Tay got to take home a safari hat and binoculars and he's wearing them still today, thanks for a great party Doc and Maria!

 

 

 

 

Bowling With Bella

We had a great time at Bella's 7th (WOW!!) birthday party! Becky did an awesome job on the party, and the kids were so well behaved and bowled really well. Tay wanted to bowl SO bad during the kids games and he settled for handing the balls to the them. At the end of the party he got to throw 1 ball down the lane and I think he thought "that's it?" LOL!  Thanks for having us (and letting me snag some of your pics) we love you!

Faces

I FINALLY got a new phone and it has a reverse camera so we can take fun self portraits without guessing what we are shooting. Well Tay's new favorite thing to do it see himself in my cell and of course I snap pics while he is making faces!  He now understands when to smile when I am taking his pic and say "SMILE!" and he makes the cutest cheese-ball smile.  We also have Face Time so call us and he will say hello!

Cousin Love

We had a fun relaxing weekend with all our cousins! We had Ryle for the weekend while Ray and Christi got a little getaway and he and Tay had the BEST time! They played cars, drew pictures (my backyard is covered) and read books together.  My brother James and fam came out for the weekend from AZ so Saturday we took a day trip to my parents to have dinner and the boys got spoiled with some cookie dough straight from the bowl.  Tay kept asking for more and more, and after Grandma and I had given him a good amount I handed him off to Gus to get him away from the bowl.  Low and behold 2 seconds later I look over and the boys had the bowl and they were feeding Tay straight from it. That kid got a double dose!  Sunday morning the boys slept in late and then watched cartoons in my bed.  It was a great weekend!

Jumping Beans

This little lady made her presence known to the world last week and its going going going out! I'm somewhere in between my regular clothes and some comfy maternity clothes. I can rock my Bella Band with the best of them tho!  This is the only shot I could get that was decent enough for a self portrait (and it was so bad at that that I have to play with the editing to make it fun hahaha).  I have been feeling MUCH better, no more nasty morning sickness, just the usual tiredness.  Trying to get myself to walk as much as I can but its so HOT!  I usually end my day melted on the couch.  We are still on the name hunt, we have a couple on the list but haven't called it yet.  I'm hoping to soon tho!

1 hour after posting this I realized its only Tuesday - o well hahaha!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a very mellow 4th! Gus worked the morning shift so Tay and I had a lazy morning reading in bed and the we took a LONG walk together, he loves being outside and waves at all the cars. Since the weather was so cold our plans got a little shifted, we wanted to spend the day in our pool but the sun didn't break until almost 4 so we only had about an hour out there until it got cold.  I didn't even bother getting in, where's the sun this week?

At bedtime we headed over to Fullerton to meet up with Ray and Christi (and Fam) to watch fireworks and Tay had the best time!  He was very excited to see Ryle and every time he heard a BOOM he looked up and clapped.  It was a fun relaxing 4th, hope you had the same!
