Where has the time gone?

I feel robbed!  How can he be 6 months already?!?!? 

Easter 2011

Happy Easter!

Sunday morning we woke up early and headed to church with Rock Harbor to see Francis Chan speak at the pacific amphitheater with Mom and Dad. It was such a beautiful service to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection with song, theatrics and Pastor Chan. He is an amazing teacher and author, he wrote Crazy Love and I highly recommend it!  Tay did really well even tho we were skipping his big morning nap and as soon as the service was finished is started to sprinkle and we headed home for Easter Baskets!

Taylor was really excited for his 1st Easter basket, he was looking at each item with such excitement. He got lots of fun things including a bunny, bowls, spoons, some new paci’s, blocks and books.  He held each thing and studied it with a "now what's this?" look on his face, it was so cute!  He loves his bunny and the blocks and plays with them every day.

After our big day we all took a family nap, cats and all!

Gabe's 15th!

Saturday night we went to dinner to celebrate Gabe’s 15^th birthday- that’s right I said it 15!  I can’t believe he is that old, I think I say that every year hahaha!  I ate too much and even indulged in some pazookie while Ryle entertained Tay at the table.  He was so excited to see Tay again and sit next to him in their high chairs!  It’s so interesting to see how the generations have passed (like I’m so old) when my 15 year old nephew ordered off the kids menu, my hubby (no where NEAR the babies) played joyfully with toy trucks and then there was my 3 year old nephew playing games on the Iphone.  SMH

World of Color

We had a wonderful date night with Wendy and Wes for World of Color!  We had a fabulous dinner at the Wine Country Trattoria in CA Adventure and with our dinner came preferred tickets to Disney’s World of Color.  We left Tay with his Auntie and Uncle and were off to our fun dinner and show.  Between dinner and show we got to ride 1 ride- my 1^st ride in a LONG time- and then got so close to the show that we got wet with each water spout.  I sang every song and danced to all the music, I love being that close and feeling the memories RUSH over me with each song.  I can’t wait to see it again!

Costco Baby

Last week we ventured to Costco for our long shopping list and we found Taylor's new favorite toy- the Costco card!  He held the card all thru the trip and was sad when I had to hand it to the cashier to get checked out.  O and it was his 1st adventure in the shopping cart seat like a BIG BOY!!!

~ and yes for the record when Gus does that its scares the bejesus outta me!!!

Happy 30th Gieser!

To celebrate my dear friend's 30th we had a yummy girls dinner at Roma Cucina and some Layer Cake at Twisted!  I love these girls so much and have enjoyed all our celebrations over the years and can't wait for many more!

My Sleepy Boys

Every morning after I feed Taylor at 6am-ish Gus takes him for some quality Daddy time while I get ready for work.  Usually it's play time varying from a whole gamut of activities but this past week I have walked in every morning and caught them doing this ~

The Newest Angel Fan

Taylor had a great time at his 1st Angels game with mommy, daddy and Auntie D! He was so well behaved and loved watching all the people cheering and hearing the loud music. He even got a “My 1st Game” sticker that he rocked on his beanie. His new trick is to reach out and grab whatever you have in your hands and pull it to his mouth and as you can see he grabbed a beer. He loved the cold bottle and after a few pics daddy learned not to hold anything in front of the baby anymore! Can’t wait to go to more games with him!

I participated in the 10 on Ten ...

8 am ~ a brisk walk to Starbucks with my men!

9 am ~ Tay's breakfast time, here's a shot of my supplies!

10 am ~ Shower time, I used to spend so much $ on expensive shampoo and conditioner, now I am in love with my Dove!

11 am ~ getting myself beautified!  I NEED more counter space!

12 pm ~ Silvia called and she had to put their dog Nicky down, a toast to a good friend that my hubby loved very much

1 pm ~ Melissa's Bridal Shower!

2 pm ~ I got to have TWO glasses of wine, yummy!

3 pm ~ Apie and I watching present opening at the shower

4 pm ~ Hanging out at Grandma Nicky's house, the whole family got together for dinner to help Silvia get thru her sad day

5 pm ~ those 2 glasses of wine really did the trick, a nap for me!

Mommy and Me Day

Saturday Tay and I packed up the car and headed to the LA Flower Mart with Apie and Kalea to get supplies for a bridal shower.  We had a great day of shopping, eating, laughing and even a great Margarita! 

Sittin Up Like a Big Boy!

Last week Taylor was sitting on the floor in my lap and I scooted back to grab something and BAM, there he was holding himself upright and laughing!  He is so proud of his new skill and refuses to lay down anymore, there's a whole new world of adventure now!

Jager and Latte

Last week Taylor and I went to W2 to get a walk in and catch up with Miss Wendy Bird!  Jager and Latte (the dogs) were obsessed with Taylor and his little toes!  They were so funny bumbling over each other to get to him to lick him and make him giggle.  They were very gentle with him and he loved every slobbery kiss!  I caught some smiles on tape and after a head to toe wipes bath we headed home.  Can’t wait to do it again!

Day 30-a picture

I am so sad it's over!  I had a really fun time following the prompts and letting you peek into my crazy life!  So to say goodbye to the challenge I thot I would leave you with "A Picture" of where it all began ~

Day 29-3 Wishes

I don't really do wishes...is that weird?  I continually strive for goals and achievements, but I don't think I can list wishes,  well other than the obvious "I wish I was skinny and rich."  HAHAHA

Day 28-Something that stresses you out

Scheduling!

Not my schedule but getting everything in order to get the most outta the month, time, money etc. can really stress me out sometimes. I think that’s mainly because my hubby is a non scheduler. His most famous quote is “we’ll figure it out!” That drives me nuts because the whole point of the conversation is usually to FIGURE IT OUT!!! I try to order everything so I know where I am going with my day and I need to know what Gus’s plans are because they effect my day, I always tell him my schedule is like dominoes. I need to get everything lined up to successfully knock them all down properly. And this doesn’t just affect my days; it effects my month and usually my entire year! I have to admit I spend way too much time fretting over calendars and lists. I’m not anal about them and I can definitely go with the flow if we are off our plans, but I do like some sense of order in my life! It’s actually funny that this stresses me out so much because if the day doesn’t go as planned I could really care less- hmmm something to think about…

Day 27-Pets

My girls the twins, everyone asks me why we call them the twins; well they are sisters from the same litter and they look almost exactly alike!  Michaela was #2 and Jordan #3 out of 5 and all the others were completey different colors, they were the only 2 that looked alike.  April dubbed them the twins from the getgo.  We have had them since they were 5 weeks old and we are absolutely in love with them!
