Yep this is our version of a blockade, it closes the gap perfectly between the couch and the fireplace and he's trapped in the living room ~ he loves it!

Tay's 1st Giant's Game

The first thing out of Gus’s mouth to every person he meets is “Taylor was born on game 1 of the World Series; he’s my good luck charm!” So we had to go see the Giants play when they came to SD! Mom and Dad joined us and got us AMAZING seats and we had the best time!! Tater sat thru the entire game with us and looked around and entertained the crowd. The gal sitting behind us loved him so much she kept grabbing my camera and snapping pics of him and even lent him her Panda hat! As we left people were asking to take pics with the boy, I think we have a star in our midst!!! Thanks for a great weekend Mom and Dad, we love you!

Donna Martin Graduates!!!

For Ashley's birthday Mike threw her a 90210 party in SD last Saturday night, and you know I wasn't gonna miss that one! Gus and I went straight from the padres game so we didn't plan on wearing costumes by low and behold Ash prepared for us, so here we are, don't be jealous! We had a great night playing games, talking with new friends, and hitting up the bar across the street. Happy Birthday my sweet Assy, we love you so much!!!

Hot Child In The City

We spent our hot weekend in the pool and at Disneyland!  Tired of hearing that yet?!?!  Hahaha!  Tay had swim lessons Saturday and Miss Diana was so happy to see him and the improvements he is making.  He laughs the second he sees the water and loves to splash splash.  Diana tried to do a back float with him but he wasn’t having it, maybe next week!  Sunday we went to Disney and CA Adventure for a couple hours then had lunch together at ESPN zone.  Tater is really into eating whatever I am now and he is not shy about digging in to my plate for whatever he can get his hands on!  His newest morsel that he mows down is rice, he had Spanish and fried rice this week and shoveled handfuls in his mouth!  I promise next weekend will be more adventurous!!!

 

Chop Chop!

It was time, I had to say goodbye to the long locks and chop it off! It's not that I needed a "mom-do" but I needed to have something I WANTED to manage. I just got tired of spending 45 minutes doing my hair in the mornings and most days it was in a bun! So bye bye hair, on to something new! I was so happy that it took me only 15 minutes this morning to dry and straighten, totally worth it all around!

 

Lazy Days

Well my holiday weekend started out looking like this~

On Friday I left Tay at the office and headed out to 1 of our schools in Brea for a meeting. As I left I noticed my engine running high and then it started beeping at me, it was overheating. I pulled over and called my Dad and he said to get it in NOW! As I drove by the mall and couldn't find the place he sent me to I dialed my Brother for help and he said "come on over!" He diagnosed it as the radiator thermostat needing to be replaced and they graciously offered me their car to go get the boy while he fixed it for $40!

We had a very very relaxing hot weekend at home so we mainly spent it in the pool! On the 4th we swam all day and I got a lot of reading done while I worked on my tan. You know it's a good weekend when I don't take many picutres! Tay was such a good boy all day and slept thru the firework maddness that was happening on our street. Gus and I sat on the front porch and watched the hundreds of mortars the neighbors were shooting off and laughing as we watched the cops drive from street to street to catch them. It was a good show tho! Here are some pics of the boy after swimming!
