I am not a crafty person so my addiction to Pinterest is pretty ironic really. Cruising the girly things for the past 6 months has brought me to some fun inspiration (and yummy recipes might I add.) Now I have to admit I have a little obsession – bows, flowers, and all sort of hair things and a huge jar just wasn't holding it all. So I combined a few pins, got some tips from a friend who is a crafty blogger at Our Fifth House and set out to create Noelle's ribbon board.
The Inspiration:

I doodled out a plan and gathered my items. I had this HUGE frame from the old condo that I saved just for something special. I was hesitant because it is SO big, but I love that it is now a statement piece in her room.

Thank goodness for my hubby who helped me with almost
everything, I had the vision and he executed most of it. Being 9 months prego I couldn't spray paint,
bend over the floor, twist hooks (that’s more of a girly wimpy hands thing)
and so on. I measured, made marks
gathered supplies (shopping – I can DO that!) and we started off on our
project! Gus pray painted the hooks, helped staple ribbon, glued scrapbook paper to the canvas and lined up her "N" perfectly.
