Gus and I went to the Dr. Monday to see the lil Pumpkin and get a checkup. Dr. says all things are going good and the baby is growing right on schedule and that we have a wild one in there! The baby was moving and kicking so much that we could only see the heart beat and not hear it at all cuz Pumpkin wouldn’t stop moving! We couldn’t even get a decent picture, only a blob on top of a blob because Pumpkin was kicking SOOO much that the ultrasound couldn’t get a clear shot. It was super cute to see the little legs just going and going and going, definitely our child! I have spent the last 3 days trying to scan the blob on blob picture but I can’t get the settings right so you will just have to wait until I have the patience to mess with the machine again!
I am doing good and feeling good so that is awesome! Hitting my 2nd trimester I can tell I have more energy in the evening than I did before and I am really happy about that. Plus I got the go ahead to start working out again, so yoga and treadmill here I come. WOO-HOO! Now I just have to actually do it, can’t decided if I wanna lose 45 minutes of sleep in the morning and just get myself used to that or workout when I get home. But that’s not really happening either so I guess 5:30 am here I come again. I made it thru the 1st trimester with no morning sickness but that can rear its nasty head anytime so keep praying that I continue to feel great please!
So far the only thing that has changed is that I lost 19 lbs and can wear my skinny pants now, hahaha, but that will only last a week or 2 now that the baby is gonna take over the tummy. It was good to see those pants for a while since it will be at least a year + till I see them again! My Dr. said the loss is normal due to eating extremely healthy (fast food makes the tummy hurt way too much these days) and that it will all start to even out in the next 6 months. I am going to try my best to stick to the 25 lb gain category so I’m not way behind the gun in the fall, but we will see. No craving or aversions to food at all, just some super salty things taste sweet or totally bland. Baked potatoes are what I am missing the most right now but I don't dare to eat them because they taste like sugar and that grossed me out!

I once heard active in the belly and calm once here...don't know if that is true for all, but just another wives tale.
